The i7 processor models are clocked at 2.6GHz with six cores, configurable to a 2.4GHz eight-core i9 processor. Base storage is 512GB SSD, configurable to 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, or 8TB. Integrated graphics are supported by an AMD Radeon Pro 5300M (4GB of GDDR6 memory), configurable. 

The i9 models are clocked at 2.3GHz with eight cores, configurable to 2.4GHz with eight cores. Base storage is 1TB SSD, configurable to 2TB, 4TB, or 8TB. Integrated graphics are supported by an AMD Radeon Pro 5500M (4GB of GDDR6 memory), configurable. 

Overall, the specs are reasonable for many common computing uses in 2025, although it is much less powerful than Apple’s newer M Series MacBook Pros. Geekbench benchmarking scores for the 2019 MacBook Pro were 1383, significantly lower than the 2318 benchmarking score for the 2020 MacBook Pro M1 13-inch and all subsequent MacBooks. 

Who Should Buy a MacBook A2141? 

The Apple A2141 can be quite a bargain. Considering it was discontinued in 2021, it’s only available refurbished, which means that it’s a great way to save money whilst getting your hands on a reasonably good (even by today’s standards) MacBook.
